The costume is made of a plush fleece product. It's got a beautiful look and feel. The shell is made of felt to help hold it's shaping.

THIS HOOD IS AN OPEN FACE HOOD. The eyes have wire and can be posed a little. OVER BENDING THE WIRE MAY CAUSE IT TO BREAK. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS.

The bodysuit is full length in orange with a yellow belly. This costume has a front velcro closure.

The shell is made in felt. It's got all of the great race car details on it. I've added wire to the spoiler and the support bars. OVER BENDING THE WIRE MAY CAUSE IT TO BREAK. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS. All of the details are appliqued on. It's a really beautiful piece! This attaches over the shoulders with straps. It can be worn without the costume.

The shell comes yo you UNSTUFFED. You can stuff it with plastic bags. I've experimented and found that polyfill is too heavy in the shell. There's an opening on the underside of the shell with a sewn edge. Once you fill the shell, you can close this with a needle and thread or a couple of safety pins.

THE BLUE SWIRL HAS BLUE GLOW IN THE DARK PIGMENT ADDED. IT WILL GLOW IN THE DARK. THIS IS A GREAT FEATURE THAT THE KIDS WILL ENJOY WITH THE ADDED BENEFIT OF BEING A SAFETY MEASURE FOR TRICK OR TREATING.

Please keep in mind that my listings are based on body measurements and not clothing sizes. So, for an accurate fit, please pick the size that's the closest match to the body measurements of the person wearing the costume. Height is one of the most important factors.

The finished costume will have a lot of extra room to make the costume comfortable to wear and fit as it's supposed to. There is normally no reason to size up because the costume is generous, to begin with. The most important step is choosing the correct size to start with.
