This is the perfect costume for you this Halloween!! This is a custom made Queen Of Hearts Costume. You could also use this if you are planning a trip to Disneyland and want to dress up as your favorite character.

This is a time consuming, but a beautiful costume. I will only be making a few of these this season. I encourage you to order early to ensure that you get it in time. Please allow 4-6 weeks for completion at this time. Closer to Halloween, the wait will probably be longer.

This is a two-piece costume. It is very nicely crafted with all seams nicely finished.

The set includes a crown and a dress.

The crown is made of two layers of felt that are sewn and finished. It's attached to a standard headband. If you want it loose so that you can use bobby pins, please let me know during checkout.

The scepter has a wooden stick. There is a red, stuffed heart with black and red ribbon ties.

The dress comes with a zipper back. The dress comes with puff sleeves. The sleeves alternate in color between black and red. The side of each sleeve has a red bow attached to them. The cuffs have pearl buttons on them. They are decorative, not functional. The bodice is carefully color-matched has a scoop neckline. There is a detachable white satin high collar. The collar has lace trim. The skirt is attached to the bodice. There is a center panel with alternating black and gold chevrons. The edge of the red and black panel skirt has white faux fur trim.

The dress is available in the following sizes. If you'd like the length of the dress adjusted, please send a measurement from the shoulder to where you want the hemline to be during checkout.

Please keep in mind that my listings are based on pattern sizes and not clothing sizes. These are VERY DIFFERENT. If you wear a size 8 in clothing, you might need a 16 in a pattern. So, for an accurate fit, please pick the size that's the closest match to the body measurements of the person wearing the garment.

The finished garment will have extra room to make the piece comfortable to wear and fit as it's supposed to. There is normally no reason to size up because the costume is generous, to begin with. The most important step is choosing the correct size to start with.

For the care of your costume:

As far as the dress goes, please wash it inside out on a gentle cycle. Use cold water. It is best to air dry this to avoid shrinking. It would also be best to steam the skirt or to iron on a low setting from the inside. Please do not iron on the satin side. The bodice has lace and ribbons, so please exercise some caution while cleaning. These parts are more delicate.

As with most clothing, wash in a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Dry on low heat or air dry. Spot clean when possible and be cautious with an iron.
